Recently I received the following question from a customer.

My answer was as follows:
HI Carmen,
All chairs made in Europe are required to hold at least 242 pounds (110 kg). These chairs are made in Italy. We also sell their polypropylene chairs which also have a 242 government certified rating. The B-Side chair are made of polycarbonate. This is a much stronger material. They use polycarbonate, for example, to protect windows during hurricanes. These chairs will easily hold a 300 pound person. We actually have videos of these chairs being run over by a forklift and still not breaking.
The color is truly crystal clear, just like a window. Unfortunately, it is hard to show the shape of the chair when it is clear. I am not a photographer, but they have to include some light gray coloring (I think) so you can see the chair design. I can tell you from my experience, that if you put these chairs on a blue carpet, they will have a blue tint. It will appear to take on some of the color of the flooring below it.
