I know what your first question is... What is a Rat Tan? That is what my kids call the embossed rattan look on the back of their legs when they sit in a rattan chair in shorts or a bathing suit. It looks a bit like a railroad track that is running down the back of your legs and stops at your knees. The general consensus in my family is that it looks "stupid".
